I have a Yorkie and she is constantly licking and scratching herself until she is raw and bleeds. Also so has lost a lot of hair from doing so. We have given her baths with allergy shampoo and sprayed her with anti-itch spray and nothing seems to work. What could it be? And does anyone know any ideas to fix it?

Yes you need to take her to the vet to find out what this is.
She could have food or environmental allergies, a fungal infection, a bacterial infection, hypothyroidism, external parasites, a mixed infection, auto-immune disease, and probably several that I have forgotten. The best way to know is to see your vet. You need a diagnosis before you can fix the problem.
Get a skin scrape. Best way to tell. For future reference, before trying home remedies, get the dog tested. Some medicines that you use for traditional itching and fleas can cause inflammation and swelling if its mites. P.S. As many people are on here to help, we don’t know why but the vet does. So stop waiting on us to answer and get that poor pooch to the vet A.S.A.P,
Good luck
Allergies, mange, mites, nervous habit, dry skin… she needs to see a vet for an exam & a skin scraping.
you should take her to a vet to get tested for things such as mange or skin allergies. giving her these baths can and probably are making it worse.
Do you use carpet fresheners? Either the sprinkle on or foam? If so…stop them, they are often the culprit. At this point though…she needs to see a vet!
It sounds like it could be mange which can be fatal if not treated. It can only be treated by the vet so you need to get her in NOW!!
Maybe allergies or mange? Ask your vet about Revolution. It helped my dog.
She probably has a skin infection now which can ONLY be treated my seeing a vet.
stop bathing her in crap that is probably irritating her more
I have an idea, see your vet!
