My Dog Has Dry, ‘creepy’ Skin On Her Back. Not A Food Allergy That I Know Of. Any Other Ideas?

I thought she had a thyroid problem but it doesn’t look like that is the issue either. And she doesn’t have fleas.
I am stumped and she is miserable.
Help!

Define “creepy”. Otherwise, you haven’t given me enough to think on. A trip to the vet oughta do it for you too.
it could be from shampoo you are using.sometimes we think we got it all off,but there could be some that was missed and dried up on her.bath her good with a gentle shampoo and put some antibiotic cream on her.if it doesn’t get better then you know it is something else, maybe carpet?
Probably an allergy. Find a pet food with as little grain as possible, and absolutely no corn or wheat. That might help. A trip to the vet would be a good idea just to rule out something more serious.
take her to the vet
