My Pekingese Scratches A Lot..read On?

She has allergies but I have her on Benadryl. She’s an indoor dog and on flea medication so I know she’s clean. I had her for 4 years. Vet tells me they have HOT SPOTS but what can I use to relive her itch.? I have tried conditioners, vitamin E, aloe anything to mosturize the spot and I bathe her with special shampoo. Is there anyhing I’m missing?

Keep her on Benadryl. Do not bathe her too much as this will cause more irritation to the hot spots. Get a Tar/Aloe shampoo and bathe her in it about every other week. Do not use conditioners or any other product for humans! This does more harm than good. If she does not have fleas, do not medicate her for them.
