Fleas In My Home. What Do I Do?

My son has been severely bitten by fleas. I know it’s my fault because the dog showed signs long ago and i did nothing. I thought it was just his normal allergies because he scratches all the time anyway from allergies i already treat him for. I can’t afford a professionl job done so i have to work hard and do it myself. I have heard of the boric acid and the 20 mule borax. Do anyone know if this really wks. The flea powder u buy in the store definitely does not wk. I need help fast. Can anyone give me any suggestions.

There are “flea-bombs” you can buy at your local Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc. The only thing is, is that you and your son will have to be out of the house while the flea bomb is set off.
Vacuum regularly, if you have pets purchase Frontline or Advantage and apply immediately, and I wish you luck.
We’ve had to deal with this also. The thing to remember is that you have to treat the house, yard AND dog at the same time or you’ll never get rid of the fleas. What we did was get the dog Advantix, buy foggers for the house and bought some kind of flea killer spray (that you put on your water hose) for the yard.
Good luck!
you can try table salt or use salt & borax together or just the borax. Here is a link explaining how to salt for fleas. You will also have to treat yard & pets.http://www.fleacontrolbook.com/naturalfl…
we had a big flea problem at our summer camp, Raid (purple can)
for fleas knoced them all out.
Vetkem is the best and can typically be found at vet clinics that sell products. I’m not sure about stores carrying them, but call around because it may be easier if you don’t know which vet has it.
Vetkem is a fine spray that is safe spray inside and drys quickly. I have used the fogger in the past and kept the premise spray (not the carpet spray) handy if I needed any follow-up (but didn’t.)
It kills the live fleas and sterilizes the eggs so they don’t breed anymore.
Vacuum well after it dries. Vibrations stimulate eggs to hatch, so you will want to vacuum again for the next couple days and discard your vacuum bag.
I swear by this stuff when I have a break-out!!
