My Dog Is So Sad =(?
my poor dog is highly allergic, she has a skin infection, she has food allergies, and on top of that she just got fleas (which i treated btw) i have all these medications and hypoallergenic foods, and she actually is a very happy pup, and i she knows i love her so much, im constantly hugging and kissing her and playing with her alot… its just when shes laying down and shes tired, she puts this cute little face on like shes sad and it kills me to see her like that because i know shes frustrated from all the itching and scratching. those little puppy eyes break my heart =(

I’m glad you’re taking such good care of her. Don’t forget to constantly clean her environment. But about those puppy eyes, they’re usually not expressions of sadness unless your puppy whines. I am a sucker for those puppy eyes too, especially when Sara’s scratching her collar and her head’s turned sideways. haha =) so cute
lol she just has puppy eyes. don’t fall for them when you are trying to correct her or when it comes to her begging for your dinner. It will start a downward spiral. But yes puppy eyes can break your heart. My puppies pout every time I put them in there pen. I start to walk away look back and they are all lined up looking like “I am not tired, let me run around more” don’t fall for it lol.
Awww. Change her food if she isn’t already on something good.
Try feeding her a grain-free product and fish. Like Orijen (the 6 fresh fish blend). It is excellent dog food and it can help her allergies go away completely! I know from first hand experience. She will be soooo much happier when her allergies go away and she has more energy and stronger muscles.
Plus give her lots of love!
Have you had proper allergy testing done? Have you cut wheat and dairy out of her diet?
)
Have you thought about going to a homeopathic vet?
You sound like a sweetie-pie and a v nice owner…
PS You could try Aloe Vera Gel, very soothing used straight from the fridge; also add some Aloe Vera to her drinking water for a few weeks and see if it helps.
My mom read in a magazine, if you put listerine(mouth wash) in spray bottle and really dilute it with water it help skin stuff on dogs. I LOVE ANIMALS!
Just put a little of the mouth wash in the bottle put a bunch of water in it. Just spray a little in one spot to make sure she doesn’t get a reaction
One of my dogs has allergies and the other is allergic to fleas and her skin breaks out really bad. I always make sure to take them to the vet at the beginning of spring and get them a hydrocortizone shot.
she should be fine- i have three:). but if your that worried, take her back to the vet and ask if theres anything else you can do.
hope i helped:)
goodluck!
