Good quality dog food that is cost effective?

I want to feed only the best to my dogs but there are so many different brands. My dogs are eating Science Diet,I know what many of you are thinking that’s not great food and I agree but it was the best available even with some questionable ingredients.
One of our dogs has a sensitive stomach, one has allergies and is super itchy, and the last dog will eat anything and is fine.
Well I’m all for a raw diet but I disagree with many of the beliefs of the raw diet.
I want a dog food that has no corn, wheat, soy, lamb, beef, meat meal, animal by products, cheese, canola oil, onion, garlic, chicken, and containing three or more meats.
All I want is a reasonably price healthy dog food. Do you know of one or more that can be found in New England?
For the people who are going to say try a raw diet how much do you spend on dog food in a month and a day per dog? Do you add in fruits and veggies?Where do you get your meat? Do you feed under a nutritionists guidance?
If you feed your dog a away other than kibble or the raw diet what is it and how much does it cost to feed one dog two meals in one day?
I’m not agianst named meat meals (chicken meal, turkey meal, lamb meal, etc) only the products that include just plain meat meal as an ingredient.
I don’t like the fact that garlic can cause anemia and death when given in lagre amounts. The exact amount before death is uncertian and debated. I have done resarch and the risks out weigh the benifits so it is cut out completly.

dog food commercial, raw or home cooked?

I have had some serious issues with both my dogs and their food. Either they both have serious sensitive stomachs, or they have allergies or they are eating something other then there food that I am not aware of. Anyways I went from commercial dog food (which none of them seemed to work) to raw food, which was o.k but my one dog had like petrified saw dust looking poop. Then I read a book on pet nutrition and I started making my own dog food. They did amazing on the first batch but by the second patch they had loose stool again. And my 9 month old had serious joint problems and has already had shoulder surgery so I was a little worried that he wasn’t getting to right amount of calcium and nutrients that he needed. So Im back on commercial. He’s eating Natural balance allergy formula and my other one is on Nutro sensitive stomach…one of them in not eating at all and the other one has barely pooped. Any suggestions?

Dog/Allergies/Paws?

My 7mth old boxer mix has just recently started chewing her paws… I’ve noticed it from when she comes in from outside after going to potty… I’ve also noticed that when she lays in the grass outside for any long period of time, she’ll get a red rash on her tummy as well… We’ve had people out in the last month spraying the grounds (apt complex) and planting new stuff, so I don’t know if it’s a reaction to that or not… She never had any of these two problems until this started.

We switched her food to Nutro Natural Choice (chicken & oatmeal) last month because of food allergies and a sensitive tummy, so I doubt that has anything to do with it as she has been GREAT since switching this food.

Any advice? Suggestions? Experience?
ETA: The red rash on her tummy goes away within a few hours from her being back inside!

Has anyone had problems with EVO dog food?

I’ve been in the process of switching my Boston Terrier (5yrs old/ 18lbs)to EVO. Its been about 3 wks and everytime I try to feed her 100% of the EVO brand, she always vomits after eating it. So then I have to go back to the 50 old/50 new dog food and she’s fine.
She was eating Authority dog food but it was causing skin allergies. She now eats EVO chicken flavor both wet and dry food.
What should I do? Please help, this issue is driving us both crazy!!!

long hair chihuahua food problems?

My three year old long hair chihuahua that I got from a shelter in August has been having somewhat watery feces, he also has been refusing to eat dog food unless I hand feed him. One other problem is that he has watery eyes, which his vet said were just allergies, but with there being no pollen in the air and his medication not really working unless I give him the maximum dose I don’t think it’s an outdoor allergy. We got him food without rice to see if that was what he was allergic to, but that was not it. He is also up to date on shots, and was dewormed before we got him. He came from California, and now lives in Utah. What could be wrong with him?
Please only answer if you know what you are talking about, and be nice.
