Question by NemmaLie: Do you have a dog treats that contain little or no grain in them?
Hi, I was wondering if you had any low or no grain dog treat recipes that I could use? My friend and I are going to be holding a bake sale sort of thing near my local dog beach and at some parks near her house where we will be selling both human food and dog treats. We will then donate all of the money to the Humane Society (we were going to volunteer there but the humane society is full of volunteers, LOL!).
I want to sell treat that have little or no grain in them so that they are pretty healthy for the dogs, plus dogs with grain allergies could still enjoy the treats!
So, if you have any treats that you use or would like to use with your dogs, do you mind sharing them with me?
Thank You!
Emily

Question by Kiwi ?: Dog allergic to foods that contain chicken and eggs. Recommendations?
My dog is a 1 and a half year old Pitbull.. this is him:

Anyways, I feed him Orijen because after long research, it was one of the best foods out there. At the beginning, when I first brought him home, I started feeding him Eukanuba (I know, the worst possible food – but I didn’t know at the time), and so he started having some rashes on this chest and bottom area. That’s when I begin my research and found Orijen as well as Innova. I chose Orijen because alot of people said their puppies had the runs while on Innova. To make the long story short, after Léon being on Orijen for about 6 months, he still has the rash and I took him to the vet and she gave me some medicine, but it was only temporary, because as soon as he was done with the meds, the rash came back. I don’t buy food from Petsmart or Petco because, in my opinion, none of the foods there are half as healthy as they should be. My vet says he may be allergic to chicken and eggs (commonly allergies in Pitbulls) and to change his diet to maybe Salmon or Fish, etc.. What are some high-end recommended foods for dogs with skin allergies? And if you have had the same experience with your pooch, would you care to discuss? Thanks!

Don’t know….Your vet should be able to suggest something though.
