Some people say during allergy season it’s okay to give your dog a benadryl or a half, I assume depending on the dog’s size. It always seems like he is more itchy, sneezy and licks himself a lot in the hotter months so they said it was allergies.
My dog was just at the vet and is on current treatment for itch and sneezing relief AND they gave him something else similar to benadryl but was very expensive. I have since ran out of the stuff similar to benadryl. He is also flea free, on regular treatment with advantage.
He is 15 lbs so should I just give a half if it’s okay?
My aunt just gave her dog benadryl today when she was stung by wasps (which I guess happens frequently where they live, they have nests in the ground and the dog gets into them and gets stung). Even though she did it and says its okay I want to hear what others think.

My dog is allergic to fleas and is supposed to have an allergy shot once a month, but it costs me nearly $100 each month. They have a $45 fee just for putting her on the table and the shot itself costs $50. I can’t afford to pay $100 a month. She gets a real bad rash on her stomach and the top of her butt when she doesn’t get her shot. Is there anything I can do for her?

I believe that both of my dogs have a food allergy and I am trying to think of what I can give them to stop them from scratching so much…i was thinking about applying an anti-histamine cream like bendryl or even toothpaste but does anyone have any other ideas?

I have a labrador who is 4-years-old who suffers from food allergies. What is the best kind of dog food out there. I have tried several brands with no luck.

She has tried Iams, Eukanuba, Purina One. She does not get diarrhea with Authority but she now has skin allergies, we think to a food source. I switched her to Blue because of the allergies and now she has diarrhea and gas. HELP !!
