Looking For A Dog Food For Allergenic Dogs?

My dogs are allergenic. licking paws , biting, scratching… one of them is getting worse. I feed them “Canidae All Life Stages Dry Dog Food” for about 3 months. They love it. But her itching seems to get worse… I don’t want to give them a medicine for allergy. In stead of using medicines, I want to change their constitutions. It is hard for me to find out the causes of their allergy. So, at least I want them to get stronger constitutions. If someone knows about a good dog food for allergenic dogs, please give me informations.

My yellow lab is two years old and has bad allergies. I was told to switch his food and everything that I have tried isn’t working.. He scratches his eyes raw, licks his paws raw, and chews/nibbles on his body. He also licks his butt raw as well. I am thinking it might be Atopic Dermatitis but I am not sure. I was hoping another lab owner has gone through what I am going through right now and has advice on what to do, or what type of food he should be eating.. I would appreciate any advice out there about this problem. I am affaird that one day he is going to scratch his eye ball if i don’t solve this problem soon.. Please Help

Looking For A Dry Dog Food For Allergies.?

I have a puggle who has dry skin. Have any recommendations? The vet recommended VeRus Opticoat but it has beet pulp which is linked to problems. I checkout out Natural Balance Limited Ingredients but just wanted some advice.

Our Golden has always been fed Innova EVO but had chronic ear infections. We had him allergy tested, and the results were whoppers — food allergies include pork, eggs, soybean, lamb, flax or flaxseed oil, barley, brewers yeast and green peas. Also, no grasses (you’d be surprised what’s in some dog foods).
I’m trying to find a HIGH quality kibble (no freezer room for raw, and canned is bad for his teeth) which does not have any of these ingredients, and preferably lists a protein as the first 2 or 3 ingredients. At this point, the only thing I’ve found is Royal Canin’s Veterinary Diet Potato & Venison Large Breed, but the quality doesn’t thrill me.
Any suggestions?

My puggle is itching. NO FLEAS. Her furcoat is in great shape (shiny and full). She is itching. I did a little research and want to see what kind of food people use for allergy dogs (puggle owner a plus). Thanks for any input or leads.
