Someone suggested Natural Balance or Wellness, but they were on the RECALL list in 2007…..

My mini doxie is overweight,lethargic, and has really bad skin allergies. I have tried EXPENSIVE dog food from the vet, yogurt, local honey, malesab shampoo,predisone….nothing works. I want to try to make her food from natural ingredients. Any ideas?

I have a 3 year old labradoodle that will not stop scratching and biting herself. She’s even missing hair in some places. I’ve read that a lot of dogs are allergic to wheat and corn and other fillers in dog food. The only brands that don’t have those fillers are just too expensive. Is there any way I can give her home made dog food? Does anyone have recipes? Will she still get all the right minerals and nutrients?
