I have a shih-tzu that is 9 years old. I have changed her food, gave her benedryl, used sprays for itching, and even tried steroids. She bites her feet and back end so bad and so often that her saliva has caused her white hair to turn a brownish color, it stays that way even after bathing. I’ve also tried the hypo-allergenic shampoo and conditioner. Any suggestions?

I have a 2 year old Bullmastiff who seems to develop a food allergy about 5 months after he is eating any dry dog food. I have tried Nutro Natural Choice, Nature’s Recipe, Costco Lamb & Rice, ect. The vet suggests Benadryl, which is fine, but I need to find some food he will do well on forever.
His ears, eyes and mouth get very red when he is allergic and he becomes itchy. Please post any advice you have, Thanks!

Does anyone have any recipes or a free link to recipes for dogs with allergies? My 8 month old German Shepherd is on “itching medication” right now for his allergies and they don’t seem to be working. The vet said he might have food allergies, so I was going to try out some homemade foods to make him. Please help!
