Question by good ole girl: Is there something I buy for my dogs skin without going to vet? He’s 1 1/2 year old aussie shepard.?
Last summer and now again, he’s pulling his hair out (a strip at the bottom of his back by his tail). He itches and no fleas. Looking for anything I might can go buy because he really hates going to vet. Any suggestions? Of course, to help him I’ll take him anyway but if anyone knows of something good for his skin then I want to try that first. He has allergies and it seems like he may be allergic to grass (this happens when he rolls in it and summer months). He’s a house dog so hes not out in the grass a whole lot , well anyway, does anyone know what I might try? Does anyone else have a dog that does this?
He eats different things,
daily- ceasar 2 cans also kibble and bits dry food also table food, he loves to eat.

First of all what brand of food do you feed your dog?
Edit…. There’s your answer those food are garbage full of corn wheat these will cause food allergies. Animal by-products animal fat animal digest fillers soy dyes..Those food are bad..You want to get your dog off those food’s and get him on a grain fee food grains are another problem for dogs Natural balance natures variety are a great brand of food raw is a great way to go now this is not going to be a fast process it can take some time before you see a change but it will help your dog allot. My dogs are on the Natures Variety with raw and I also give the the BRAVO pure wild Alaskan salmon oil a great diet = a great healthy dog and a beautiful coat.

can fleas still be here without me seeing them?

since july i have been intching almost unbearbly with tiny spots popping up almost like insect bites. i have always had the most horrible inching reaction to insect bites you can imagine. i have a dog and cat in my 1 bedroom apartment. i found ONE flea on my dog (after 6 months of seeing nothing on them or me) so i went out and bought flea collars for both the animals and flea powder for my carpets. since then i’m still itching like crazy. is it possible that there are still fleas even though i NEVER see them and NEVER catch one on me or biting me even though i get these spots 4-5 times a day? i even notice the “bites” pop up on me at work though thats much more rare. i just feel like i would see them if they were still around and i never do. i also thought allergies but i’ve switched detergents/soaps/air freshener and nothing. please help. i’m losing it.

I have an american pitbull terrier i started her out on Purina Puppy soon after her hair started falling out i got worried and took her to the vet thinking it was maybe mange, but come to find out she has an allergy to grains, corn, and peanuts so finding a food is so hard for her i went to multiple pet stores but yet all have those ingredients…. What can i feed her dog food wise….. ive had her eating boiled chicken, rice, peas and carrots and she seems be doing fine…but the problem is that i will be taking a trip to New Orleans in a week and the airline refuses to fly her because of her breed (BTW shes only 8 weeks) so i need some type of food because i will be boarding her for the 4 days that i am in New Orleans…Please help me and price is not an issue
